What is 1998 final four?

The 1998 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four was held from March 28 to March 30, 1998, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The four teams that qualified for the Final Four were the University of North Carolina, University of Kentucky, Stanford University, and the University of Utah.

The semifinal matchups were Kentucky versus Stanford and North Carolina versus Utah. In the first game, Kentucky defeated Stanford 86-85 in overtime, while in the second game, Utah beat North Carolina 65-59.

In the championship game, Kentucky faced off against Utah. The game was evenly matched for much of the first half, but Kentucky pulled away in the second half and won the championship game 78-69. Kentucky's Jeff Sheppard was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.

The 1998 Final Four was notable for being the first time that a Final Four game was played in an indoor football stadium, as the Alamodome had a capacity of over 40,000 for basketball games. The Alamodome also hosted the Final Four in 2004.
